We now provide National Rail with large capacity water tanks for leaf clearance. The high pressure water jets run at 1,450 bar or 22,000 psi, and deliver a flow rate of 92 litres/ mile when running at 60mph (46 litres to each rail), so this is serious kit and needs a serious amount of water on board.
